We're looking at John 19 and how Jesus tells Pilate that his power is given from above.

He basically tells Pilate that Jesus is choosing to die, that Pilate is just doing what God needed to be done.

Why is Jesus choosing to die? Because sin is a serious problem.

It's a problem that Pilate didn't understand, nor does our world, but Jesus and His Father take it very seriously and death is the only means of dealing with it.

Do we take sin seriously? How are we dealing with it?
