After Jesus rises from the dead He appears to a number of different people. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15 that this is one of the most important things, but why? In achieving victory on the cross and through the resurrection Jesus has made a way back to God, but by appearing He has made this way known personally to us. This is where we find true hope.
